Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take Daonil exactly as directed.

The usual starting dose in adults including the elderly is one Daonil tablet (2.5mg) a day before breakfast. Your doctor may raise the dose of Daonil by one tablet at a time (2.5mg) until your diabetes is stabilized. When you are taking 2 or more Daonil 2.5mg tablets your doctor may change you to Daonil 5mg tablets.

Continue taking Daonil for as long as your doctor tells you to.
