Etodolac (generic name: etodolac; brand names include: Utradol) belongs to a class of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Indications include:
Acute and long-term use in the management of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
Management of acute pain
Etodolac is supplied as regular-strength tablets (200 / 300 / 400 mg) and ER (extended release) 400 mg and 600 mg tablets.
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take your medicine exactly as directed.
Etodolac should be taken by mouth with a full glass of water, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug.
Tell your doctor before taking Etodolac, if:
