I rely on Cafergot to alleviate my migraines to such an extent that my family reminds me to take it at the onset of any symptoms. As the pain can leave me feeling disoriented and unsure whether it's a migraine, I usually find a dark, quiet spot to relax and even nap after taking the medication. It's incredibly effective and usually takes effect within an hour. To ensure I'm always prepared, I carry a few extra pills in my purse in case of an unexpected migraine while at work. Sometimes, if I've waited too long to take it, or if the migraine is particularly severe, I require two pills. If I don't feel any relief after 30 minutes, I'll take another pill. I truly believe in the power of Cafergot and recommend it to anyone suffering from migraines.

Once again, it seems that the perfect medication is unavailable when I need it. I have been dealing with migraines for 28 years now, and unfortunately, I'm unable to take newer migraine medications such as Imetrex and Zomig due to their side effects on my breathing. However, since my go-to medication, Cafergot, is no longer available, my doctor prescribed Fioricet as an alternative, and it has been just as effective in relieving my migraine symptoms.
