Clobex (generic name: clobetasol propionate; brand names include: Tenovate / Olux / Cormax / Temovate / Dermovate) belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids.
Temovate is a very high-potency corticosteroid. It is used for the treatment of skin disorders including eczema, dermatitis, allergies, and rash.
The cream is supplied in 30 g tubes under the brand name Tenovate, manufactured by GSK.
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Use your medicine exactly as directed.
The cream is usually applied to the affected area 2 times daily. It is not recommended to use it longer than for two weeks in a row.
Tell your doctor before using Clobex, if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
