CellCept (generic name: mycophenolic acid / mycophenolate; brand names include: Myfortic) is an immunosuppressant.
CellCept is used in combination with other medicines to prevent rejection of transplanted organs (e.g. kidney, liver, or heart).
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take your medicine exactly as directed.
The normal adult dose to prevent rejection is usually 2 g or 3 g per day, depending on which organ has been transplanted.
Tell your doctor before taking Triamterene, if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you have any serious medical conditions;
you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Active ingredient: mycophenolate mofetil.
