Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take Noten exactly as directed.
Noten may be taken on an empty stomach or with food. The dosage may differ depending on your condition and whether you are taking any other medicines. Your doctor will tell you exactly how much you should take. The elderly may require a lower dose of Noten.
To properly control your condition, Noten must be taken every day. Continue taking Noten for as long as your doctor prescribes. Do not stop taking Noten or lower the dose without first checking with your doctor. It usually takes 1 to 2 weeks before the full effect of Noten is noticed.
If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, and then go back to taking your tablets at the same time you would normally. If it is more than six hours since your last dose, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose when you would normally. Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you missed.
Store your Noten tablets at room temperature. Avoid exposure to heat, light and moisture.
Before taking Noten, tell your doctor if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you have asthma; low blood pressure; diabetes; or have certain other heart problems;
you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, or you are breast-feeding.
