Follow the directions for using Kalumid provided by your doctor. Take Kalumid exactly as directed.

Start taking Kalumid at the same time as the other drugs you are taking to treat your prostate cancer.

The usual adult dose is one 50 mg tablet taken each day.

Swallow your Kalumid tablet whole with a full glass of water.

Take Kalumid at about the same time each day. It does not matter if you take Kalumid before, with or after food.

Keep taking Kalumid for as long as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.

If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember, as long as it is 12 hours or more before the next dose is due. If it is less than 12 hours to the next dose do not take the dose you have missed. Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose that you missed.

Keep the tablets at room temperature in a dry place.
