Anelmin is used to treat:
Common roundworms (ascariasis)
Hookworm infections (uncinariasis)
Pinworms (enterobiasis; oxyuriasis)
Anelmin can be used to treat more than one worm infection at a time.

Anelmin works by preventing the worm from absorbing essential sugars needed for survival. This leads to the eventual death of the parasite within a few days.

Anelmin can be used to treat adults and children aged 2 years and older. The dose of Anelmin may be different for different patients. Adults and children 2 years of age and over - 100 mg two times a day, morning and evening, for three days. Treatment may need to be repeated in two to three weeks.

For more than one worm infection at a time:
Adults and children 2 years of age and over - 100 mg two times a day, morning and evening, for three days.
Anelmin tablets may be chewed, swallowed whole, or crushed and mixed with food.

Tell your doctor before taking Anelmin, if:
